Objectives:

• to quantify food web changes in Mediterranean streams, based on Stable isotope analysis of museum- archived and contemporary fishes

• to examine changes in trophic diversity caused by biological invasions and environmental variability in contemporary fish assemblages

• to identify the functional traits of invasive fishes that induce the strongest impacts on the trophic structure of recipient fish assemblages

• to enhance understanding of the ecological impacts of invasive fishes through public awareness and outreach
